The coffee table George made for us is the best piece of furniture in our home.  I wanted to replicate the coffee table that my parents had back in the 60's, and that I saw live through many young children, dinner parties and daily wear and tear.  His design for my own coffee table matched my memory exactly - the beautiful end result, made of Walnut top, and ebonized Ash base is breathtakingly gorgeous.
This table has  already survived several years of young grandchildren using it as their dinner table, many propped feet, magazines, and stacked laundry, and it remains as lovely as the day he delivered it.  It is a perfect fit for our mid-century modern home, and is the central piece of furniture in the living room.  Many guests have commented on the table's beauty and form, and I won't hesitate to recommend George to to anyone who is looking for high-quality, hand-crafted furniture.
