BKR BED

The BKR Bed project was very unique. The client wanted a bed that both matched their mid-century walnut furniture, as well as their Stickley Arts and Crafts pieces. I designed them the headboard and footboard (she provided beautiful baskets for the openings on the footboard). The weight and technique are in line with the Arts and Crafts movement, but the oiled walnut and lighter touch feel right at home with their mid-century pieces.
